Kombucha 康普茶

Kombucha is a fermented black, red, or green tea drink with an effervescent, tart, and slightly sweet taste. The sugary tea is fermented with the help of symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY).The Scoby converts most of the sugar into alcohol then to organic acids, transforming the tea into a refreshingly fizzy, slightly sour fermented beverage that is low in calories, sugar, and alcohol. The taste can be further enhanced with added flavors into fruity, spicy, or herbaceous varieties.

Milk kefir is a milk based probiotic beverage made with milk kefir grains and fresh milk. The grains’ lactic acid bacteria turn the milk’s lactose into lactic acid, so milk kefir tastes sour like yogurt but it is a more powerful probiotic than yogurt.

Gelato is Italian ice cream which contains more milk and less cream than normal (American) ice cream, yet it has a creamier and smoother texture. It is also more fluid, elastic and denser, can be served at warmer temperature than normal (American) ice cream.
